Sarah Beebe is pursuing her Ph.D. in Nursing at The George Washington University with a focus in healthcare simulation research. She is also an instructor in the School of Nursing at the University of Delaware. Sarah is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). She has devoted most of her current research to advanced practice nursing simulation and policy as well as use of virtual technology, creating hybrid simulated experiences. Her clinical background is in women’s health and maternity. Sarah is a nurse-midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner with a focus in out-of-hospital birth. She has also focused much of her practice in public health, working with a variety of vulnerable populations.
