Marye Dorsey Kellermann is currently a clinical Assistant Professor at The Catholic University of America Conway School of Nursing. Her prior teaching and leadership experience includes acting as Acting Associate Dean of the CoppinState University Helene Fuld School of Nursing and major faculty coordinator of several NP courses. Dr. Kellermann has her PhD in organizational leadership for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. She has provided consultation to several hospitals and nursing programs in curricular development accreditation and teaching methods. Her integration of leadership concepts has been evidenced by college wide education efforts including “Coppin Stoppin’ Inactivity” and “Hands only CPR” as well as community wide health fairs with integration of churches in northwest Baltimore.  She has actively taught in the VANAP grant funded program of nurse practitioner fellowships at the DC Veteran’s hospital in collaboration with CUA. Her nurse practitioner master’s degreewas obtained from the University of Maryland in which she has 2 specialties of Adult and Gerontological care.  As a fellow of the American Association of Nurse practitioners, she has presented several sessions for national conferences for the AANP. NONPF has also invited Dr. Kellermann to share her innovative “NECESSARY Whole brain teaching” with faculty across the US. She is the creator and exclusive presenter of the national Necessary NP Reviews and many other NECESSARY workshops for faculty, NPs, nursing students and Hospitals. In her clinical practice, she continues to provide health care (pro bono) to a religious community in Maryland with integration of facets of telemedicine.
